This Notice applies to individuals who interact with Trampolene, including website visitors, enquirers, trainees, prospective trainees, parents, caregivers, programme participants, job applicants, interns, volunteers, employers, partners, funders and other stakeholders.

Specific programmes, assessments, forms, recordings or activities may have additional collection notices, declarations or consent forms that should be read together with this Notice.

Employees and other personnel may receive additional information about the handling of their personal data through the Employee Handbook, employment documents or other internal notices.

How we use personal data

We may collect, use and disclose personal data to:

  • respond to enquiries, applications and requests;
  • assess, deliver and administer programmes, assessments, training, coaching and employment support;
  • maintain case, attendance, progress, placement and outcome records;
  • communicate with individuals, caregivers, employers, referral agencies and other relevant parties;
  • manage safety, safeguarding, emergencies, complaints and incidents;
  • manage applications for employment, internships, volunteering or contract work;

We will not use personal data for a materially different purpose without further notice and consent where required.

The PDPA requires organisations to notify individuals of the purposes for which personal data is intended to be collected, used or disclosed.

Consent, minors and recordings

Where consent is required, we will explain the relevant purposes and obtain appropriate consent.

The PDPA may permit or require us to collect, use or disclose personal data without consent in certain circumstances, including emergencies, investigations, employment-related matters or where required or permitted by law.

You may withdraw your consent by contacting our Data Protection Officer. We will explain the likely consequences and stop the affected collection, use or disclosure after reasonable notice, unless continued processing is permitted or required by law.

Where an individual is below 18 years of age or requires support to understand an activity, we may involve a parent, caregiver, guardian or authorised representative and provide information in an appropriate and accessible manner.

Consent for participation, assessment or internal training does not automatically authorise photographs, recordings or personal information to be used for publicity or social media.

Sharing of personal data

Where necessary for the purposes described in this Notice and permitted under the PDPA, we may disclose personal data to:

  • parents, caregivers, guardians or authorised representatives;
  • employers, schools, referral agencies, funders, government agencies and programme partners;
  • service providers and professional advisers supporting our operations; and
  • regulators, authorities or other parties where required or permitted by law.

We will limit disclosure to the personal data reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

These broad recipient categories are sufficient for the general website notice. Specific forms or programme notices should provide more detail where a particular disclosure is important to the individual’s decision.

Protection, retention and overseas processing

We apply reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, alteration, loss or disposal.

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal, contractual, funding, audit, safety or operational requirements. Personal data that is no longer required will be securely deleted, anonymised or disposed of where appropriate.

Some approved service providers may store or process personal data outside Singapore. Where this occurs, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data receives protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.

  • request access to personal data held about you and information about how it was used or disclosed during the year before your request;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
