Prior to the success of Learn, Play, Work Edition 1 on 20 – 21 July 2019. Trampolene presents to you Learn, Play, Work Edition 2. We promise you another round of fun-packed activities, group projects, and meaningful roundtable discussions!

What does it mean to be Neurodiverse? What does it mean to be Neurotypical? What are some assumptions we may have about each other?

Supported by the National Youth Council (NYC), this workshop aims to engage youths, both Neurodiverse and Neurotypical in conversations through working together. Join us over two days to better understand diversity and inclusion right here at Trampolene.

This is a rare chance to get in touch with empathy and understanding through teamwork and cooperation. Let us take this chance to communicate with each other as equals, and learn to appreciate each other’s similarities and differences.

Roundtable Discussion

Representatives from both Neurodiverse and Neurotypical groups will share their views on everyday life, as well as the concerns and challenges they face. Topics such as friendships, job seeking, and hobbies will also be up for discussion.

Team Project

Participants will be split into groups, and each group will be given a mini project topic to work on.  The team will be required to prepare a presentation deck at the end of the day. Each of the team will be briefed on the objectives and deliverables for the project.

This segments provides a platform for teams to communicate and share their opinions, suggestions and ask questions.

Trampolene personnel will be on hand to mentor, observe and facilitate.

Focus group

Participants will be regrouped into new focus groups, where they will share their experiences from this programme, such as challenges faced, unexpected incidents and lessons learnt. The groups will then discuss and plan on ways which they could help with social inclusiveness.

Sounds interesting and useful?
